5 minutes ignorant, forever literate

Some people tend to be hesitant to ask questions of what they don't know or what they wanted to know, with the fear of being called ignorant, or stupid, or illiterate, or idiot. I don't agree with this way of thinking.
We shall not be scared to ask questions about something we don't know or we wanted to know about, even if we would be called ignorant, because our ignorance about it would only last for five minutes, afterwards, once we would get the answer, we would be literate about it forever.
To sum up my point:It takes only five minutes to be ignorant when you ask a question, yet it takes forever to be literate when knowing already the answer to it.

I agree entirely... I have a 12 year old little sister who says she annoys the teachers because she is always asking to many question... I told her first to never ber afraid to ask question... and second if the teacher doesn't like it she needs to finda new profession

Thank you for agreeing. For me, those who are annoyed to be asked a lot of questions, have nothing to answer, lol.

Yep. It pays to be ridiculed but in the process you knew the answer, than to be ridiculous forever. You'll never know something unless you ask or experience it yourself and asking requires you lesser effort.
