Yesterday I got my first payment ($5 Amazong gift card) from Swagbucks. If you do not know already, swagbucks is a site that rewards you for your searches with prizes like gift cards, Paypal, and other cool stuff. But I have a problem. I want to spend my five dollars as a reward for myself. But what can I buy on Amazon that is five dollars? Or should I just save it and use it when I receive more Amazing gift cards?

I got my first $5 Amazon gift card from Swagbucks last month as well. There's really not that much you can buy on there with just a $5 gift card from what I have seen. I mean, everything I have seen (maybe not everything, but everything *I* have seen) costs nearly $3 in just shipping fees, so that really leaves you just with around $2 to buy something. I think you'd be better off just saving up. That's what I'm doing and at this point, I have $25 worth of $5 gift cards saved up. Haven't quite fully decided what I want to buy yet so I'll probably just hold off and get more until I can decide for sure what I want to buy first.

I guess I will be taking your advice and saving up. Wow! $25? I wish I could make that much also! But at least one more, and you are almost guaranteed free shipping, depending on what you get. But you and I will probably save it up then too, unless there is something specifically you are saving for. I think I will be saving up for this fridge: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001YQGDS2/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER Looks very cool and will be useful in my dorm room. That or some books, movies, or video games. I would go for a Xbox 360 but 60 $5 gift card (well 59 now) would take a long time.

I think I will buy a game or movie also. I have one referral who (I don't think) does any searches but he told me he installed the toolbar. Hopefully we will both earn from that! By the way, do you know what the referral earning rate for swagbucks is? I don't think the site ever says specifically, just "when your referrals/friends earn, you earn!"

That fridge seems pretty cool. I thought about getting a game for my 360 but I'm not sure. I thought about saving up for an iPhone but kind of like you said, I decided that it probably would take too long to save up that many gift cards unless I was able to get a few more referrals (I only have one at the moment) who could get me a lot of swagbucks. I'll likely just end up getting some movies for my first few purchases.

I think you should save to a big account then use the credit to buy something. redeeimg amazon voucher is good way on swagbuck, but i prefer to PayPal.I still have some amazon credit on my account. if i spend them out maybe i would think about to redeem amazon e-gift next time. if you want to know how i make money online and get more amazon credits you can visit my blog. This blog is a record how I made money on internet. I hope more and more people can get useful and genuine information if they are interested in money making on internet.http://poundscoming.blogspot.com/

There is nothing valuable that you can buy for a worth of $5 at Amazon so if I we're you, you should just try to save it up and accumulate more earnings to be able to buy a better things such as a new laptop or something else that proves useful for you. Anyway, congratulations on earning your first $5 dollars while I am still in the process of getting a hard time earning my first sale.

I guess that would be the best option right now. I have something I want in mind but currently it is $150! I don't know how long it will be there or how long it will take me to earn that much! I will probably go for something cheaper, like a game.

I don't think you can buy anything phisical form amazon for 5 dollars because shipping fees would use most of that money, you can probably buy some digital music or ebook. But i think the best is to save that money and use it when you need to buy something from them that you would have bought anyway and then use it. That way your gift card will have the same value as hard cash.

I think I will be saving it as everyone has suggested. It seems like the best option right now till I earn more.

That is good advice. The others have advised me to do a similar thing and I have not spent my money yet! Thanks for the encouragement!

Just like other have said, there really isn't anything that you can buy with only $5, because shipping and handling. I know you want something now, but if you wait you can earn more and have a bigger reward, just recently I purchased my self a guitar from my amazon earnings from various sites. It was great to be able to do that. I think Saving it is the thing to do.

Yes, I will be taking everyone's advice and save up for something. I will have to wait till at least $25 so I can get free shipping, so only 4 more gift cards to go!
