taking a pain reliever

i'm the type of person who often suffers from headache, from mild to severe, depending on what causes it. but when i have one, i don't take a pain reliever (paracetamol or mefenamic acid) right away because there are instances when a headache goes away in a matter of minutes. i let a considerable amount of time pass first to suppress the pain, unlike some people i know who immediately take a pill at the onset of a headache. how about you, what type of headaches do you suffer from and do you take a pill right away to relieve you of the pain?

I tend to let headaches pound away for hours before I decide I've had enough and take something. I hate taking pills, so I let things like headaches fester for quite sometime before I react. I rarily take anything on the onset...

I guess that's the most sensible way to react to simple headaches, hofferp. thanks for sharing and have a nice day!

hi banarerepublica I usually take two ibuprofen as they'work so well on my eyestrain head aches. I cannot take aspirin as it burns my tummy too much. I have the ordinary stress related headaches and sometimes I get a headache from bein on the computer too long at a time. I need to get my eyes checked'and get new glasses too.,
