What feelings of your first Marathon?

This year I joined Marathon first time, weather was cloudy, but there were so so so many people, At first, I had to walk for about 2km, then begun to jog, when I arrived at 20km, I felt very tired, I considered to gave up, but I did not, after that i walked for about 2km, and then joged for about 23km. During this, sometime I felt hard to breath, special at uphill, it was so hard, so hard. I think next time I should get another adaptation strategy, keeping pace is so important. For example, at first, jog slowly slowly, at the end about 10km, begin to run little faster.I think it is a good strategy for us, dilettantes.

I think it's a good strategy to start off slow and plan to have energy at the end. Even if it doesn't work out that way (it certainly didn't for me), at least you didn't waste all your energy at the beginning and have to drop out.
