is the internet good or bad for us?

hello syed sajid, its very important question is it right for us? i feel that its some time good or bad, its totally depends on the users only.

Internet is just like a two edge knife. It has it's pros and cons. It's how a user uses the internet that would determine whether it's good or bad. So far there are far more advantage than disadvantage to the internet. It made the world seems like a small place. I guess the internet in good in general, if it's bad it should have been obsolete a long time ago. today, more and more people are more connected to the internet, our technology rely mostly on the internet. I guess, the internet is one of the greatest discoveries on man.

In my opinion, it is a mix of both bad and good. As a student, I find the internet most helpful in my assignments, most of my lecture notes and tutorial are also posted online, I could get information with a snap of the finger and most probably the best is that I could earn some extra money from the internet. The bad things would be if we spend too much time online and abandon reality, that is what happened in the case where a parent in Korea (I think) left their baby to starved because they were too engrossed playing an online game. Too much information is also not good because not all information is good, some are misleading and could foster ignorance, stereotyping and prejudice among people. Earning online is also dangerous, some are scams, some sound to good to be true but people still fall for it because they are desperate for that money. The internet is not a bad place but its also not the friendliest of places either.

Internet is good for us if we use that in a limit . Internet can be very useful if we use it in an appropriate way . Like earning money here in mylot and all . It can also be bad if we use internet for watching dash dash dash movies .We should always control ourselves while using internet . For some people internet has become so close to them that without internet they can't live . We should stay in our limits . We should use it for browsing only social websites and other helpful sites like Wikipedia .

It all depends on how you use it. There is alot of bad out there, peadophiles who are after our childrens innocence, people who want to steal our identities and money. All sorts, but if you are careful on the internet its a wonderful thing which can bring you friendship, love, information, and can also ease the daily demands of shopping, banking and contacting billing companies!!! I use the internet for most of my daily tasks, and I couldn't be without it, but I don't think it is harmless, and you have to be careful at every corner where the internet is concerned!!!

hi. just as always, it's a very powerful tool... but that power of good or evil lies in our hands. i learned so many good stuff from the world wide web and at the same time get terrified from the abhorrent things too. so each one has to decide which side they stand. happy mylotting

This all depends on how you use the Internet! For me personally the Internet is very important and an extremely useful tool! Despite loving the Internet so much I still have a place in my heart for regular hours in front of the television! I don't have much in the way of family so I'm not that bothered how long I spend on the Internet. There are so many different things I do online now that to suddenly be without it would be nothing less than chaotic! There are some people in this world that use the Internet for very bad things and I'm referring to criminal activity and well, they should suffer the consequences of their actions and the Internet should be removed from them. The Internet is one of the best creations or inventions this century I think! Andrew

Without the internet we wouldn't here the full story, or even be able to post on here. It is perhaps the most important invention in terms of communication and ability to give each other thoughts and ideas abobut current world happenings. I for one find this to be my favorite anytime resource compared to the other resources for news.

do you think penicilin is good or bad for us? yes, we just need it,like computer,insecticide and so on. there must be many bad by-effect of internet, but still we need it. i think internet and computer bring a lot things to our healthy, but still i can not image what my life will be if there is no internet anymore

As we can see nowadays mostly youth are prone and easily influence by this internet...they are looking for something to enjoy with and it became a habit because of too much use of this internet. However this internet really not bad we just need to control ourselves for being too much on used, otherwise it's helpful coz we can easily contact our loved ones and if you're looking for information about something you can just look over the internet,.

The global network brings us a lot of helpful and useful things the life is easier really easier with the internet but in the same moment internet brings us a lot of terrible things they are a lot of criminal , everyday i watch the news .. nineteen percent of the bad thing are by internet .. your money can be steal .. etc etc, so we must think about the network and try to fix it :) Have a nice to all , Ravanliyski ;)

i am from a small town.internet make me know more about this world.now internet has become a very important part of my life.most of time i am on it.hehe,i should lessen some hours on it ,maybe.

In a general sence, the internet is GREAT. to some people, the internet is a threat, most especially to the religious protagonist. Soon in the next 5-10 years ahead, you don't need to sit in the classroom for any tutorial, the internet will provide that in full flare. Soon ahead of us, you will sit in your house and observe and direct activities in your office and workshops. These are just a little the internet has offered to us to prove that it is a good thing. It has its other side, just like everything under the sun but to me, the positive outway the negative. INTERNET ALL THE WAY!!!

the internet can be good and bad as well. it depends on the purpose of the individuals using it. everything has its own pros and cons. it is up to us to use it wisely or not. it can be a source of information, income, social networking, viruses, spams and porns. you got to choose.
