AMD is cheaper, we can buy same speed with the half price with AMD. But I've found It's more hard to find AMD for repair than Intel. If you had trouble with AMD, in most cases you have to buy new AMD processor with mainboard package.

I'm not a techy but so I have no idea what's the difference between AMD and Intel. But I've always been recommended Intel if I want to buy a computer. I didn't know that AMD is a much faster processor. And most top of the line computers are equipped with Intel so I assume that it must be a better if not faster processor. But that is my non-techy opinion.

No Doubt intel is best of best you can't compare INTEL WITH AMD...yap for GAMING PURPOSE AMD IS SUITABLE...APART FROM THAT...INTEL IS THE MASTER PROCESSOR AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET...

gaming sir is full loaded graphics that AMD can handle.what more if you only use this in just running a microft word. why you have to settle for less if you can get the best. anyways we all have our opinions in using these things.you called them master processor because they have now the i7 series but the previous model was a junk...:D

I will vote for Intel. After all, they ARE the gurus and have TONS of experience. We had a company visit with my college to Microsoft. Their new CLOUD servers have INTEL on them. For me, if Microsoft chooses Intel, they certainly know what they are doing.

i respect your post sir valkerion.we all have our own opinion and what i have posted here are based on my own experience in using those kind of processors.just for your info sir AMD also have more experience when it comes in building computer hardware thats why they called Advance Micro Device.we all know that intel is more popular than AMD and i think this is the reason why microsoft choose intel except of having an I core series

AMD is faster and has been faster for many years. The race between AMD and Intel has given us some great processors, often better than the currently available mainboards and memory. It is a shame that these companies don't make memory too! What is the use of multi gigahertz speed processors when memory can barely get above one gigahertz speed?

It depends on the speed of the processor but when comparing a same speed, AMD is faster because it can be overclocked and it can enhance graphics for faster performance because it has an built in 3d renderer

in my opinion intel is always better and faster than amd. the main problem in amd is over heating, to reduce that a cooling system must be needed. amd is cheaper than intel.
