What makes you happy?

I came across this question while watching my favorite noon time show 2 days ago. They guest the two expediters who travel in 76 countries for just few months to find out what makes people happy? For me it makes me happy whenever I got big money ofcourse and whenever I saw dogs and cats carried by their owner and loving them naturally. I love to hear your answers but please do not make it as if it was a poll question to avoid deletion of the discussion. thanks

Happiness can be found inside ourselves. We cannot deny the fact that though our loved ones, family and friends are happy, still we can't feel it. Let us not fool ourselves to say that as long as all those who are special to us are happy, we are also happy. For me, my happiness varies every single day of my life, there is always a reason for me to be happy. For example, today I feel great because I finished my work just on time (beating the deadline... whew!)
Tomorrow? I don't know yet... Is it a letter from a friend...? a quote from my bf....? money from the bank...? whatever is it, I am looking forward to it...

Its everyone's opinion on what makes them happy so let us respect that. It only proves that happiness cannot be bought by any huge money or gem in the world. It occurs in the simple things.

That's true, no matter how far you live you should always have communication with your family. Family reunion is such a great thing. When we have family reunion, although not are all present, it feels good seeing my nieces and nephews grow up bigger than me haha, I was stuck in the old days when they were still children.

hi lanie. please don't get me wrong. money makes me happy. yeah, you've heard it right, money. you see, everything we need, everything we do, we need money. we need food for the table and if we don't have money, we cannot buy enough foods. we need to go to a place for an occasion or something, especially if you live away from your homeland, you need money for the plane or ship fare, etc. besides, we are full of debts, loans, and when it's payday, it's saddening if you will receive less of what you expected or you have to receive. when it's bonus time, people are all happy, especially the collectors and the financing agencies, right? i am not living luxuriously, we don't have lots of money. we only need enough money for the food on the table, to pay for the rent, the bills. if there is more from what we supposed to receive, then we get to be much happier.

Well the two things that can make me happy is my complete families and friends because they are the one who gives me streng in iveryday living, they also support me in anything that i do and they always there for me in good times and in bad times;)

Playing the piano makes me happy. I love also listening and watching other piano players on You Tube. That keeps me inspired to keep practicing and seeing where I can end up with it. I enjoy days off, when I am able to completely relax. That means no stressful days where I have to worry about going anywhere.

Oh yeah I forgot to include Day-off, I'm always looking forward to my free days. You are into Piano that's great, when I was a kid I wanted to learn to Piano but I haven't got the chance :(. That was my dream music instrument to play, good for you.

Music makes me happy. Even sad songs, ha. I love music, though. I love to listen to stuff when I'm getting ready to go somewhere, or when I'm driving in my car. I like to listen to music while I'm in the shower, when I'm cleaning.
I can honestly say, that there is nothing that makes me more happy than music!

You are music enthusiast, I love music too. Most of the time I like hearing sentimental music eventhough I'm not feeling senti that time. I just love how the music interpret and you can really feel the emotion and feelings in that song. I like listening to music when I'm cleaning the house to freshen me up and keep out from boring moments.

Wow you are one lucky human to live near the sea, that was so beautiful. Enjoying the site of sunrise at start of the day and sunset at the end of the day makes a day to anyone. They say that the sea has the natural healing powers to most of the human disease, literally and emotionally. A *** smile for that :)

What makes me happy? A lot of things actually, I am happy when I am playing the guitar to entertain people and they get entertained, I am happy when I am playing badminton, basically anything as long as it is one of my many hobbies. I am also happy when I am hanging out with my family and my friends.
On being happy, I read a book by Bertrand Russell titled The Conquest of Happiness, the more hobbies you have, the easier you will be to be happy. It makes sense and it is a wonderfully simple solution to being happy.

When you're happy , you are a different man you feel stronger.This sensitive make you to feel better.My family makes me happy , my friends , my work , it is very imporant because everyone wants to be a happy so the happinies is something good.
I am happy when i see my results on some project , when i see my sister who win some tournament , the sucess makes me happy.It isn't good when the money makes you happy.

Being with my family and friends makes me happy. It is important for me to treasure them. Without them, then I am nothing.
