Back in October 2009, i got assaulted by a guy i used to live with i knew exactly who it was and went to the police the next day they gave me a number to call i then had pictures of my injuries taken and went to give a statement. After a few weeks the police called me and said they have talked to him and he is claiming its self defence but how can it be when he hit me so i passed out and then kicked me on my side causing me to have a massive bruise. Also the police wont do anything as there are no witnesses.
Surely if it is self defence i would have not had a cut on my face, my watch nicked, a bruise on ny side and a mouth full of blood. This has left me with no faith in the police in this country and their lazziness means this guy could be attacking other people at will..
So i ask you is it justice or should this guy be send back to his home country??

You know I believe that wholeheartedly. Police are lazy. They certainly dont mimic the Law and Orders shows or any law enforcement shows on the television. That's for sure!. This isnt justice. Why did he do it? Do you think you're safe now? I dont think its seriousness for the government to send him back to his home country. Not that he shouldnt be. That is a dirty dude to have attacked you. This is why people take the law into their own hands. I would start carrying a camera or get a phone with one. THis way you record any time he comes even on the same side of town as you. You should be able to get a restraining order. Especially where you had physical bruises. ALso contact the the highers ups in the Police Department or your local government. What ever you do, dont talk to him, go near him in any way. Please be careful. dl

I think you should call authorities in charge of getting people deported. Don't even bother with small-time police because they are useless!!! When my brother stole my hubby's things from my mom's garage worth $4000.00. They did nothing. We even submitted pawnshop slips that we found in my brother's room.. errr I don't even like calling him my brother b/c he is a monster.
Take care

That's what they call 'justice' but it's not justice at all. It's a biased decision. They heard your side, and they heard his and they believed him instead of you? You have to put this on court if you really want justice. Hire a lie detection services or something for solid evidence.

It is mainly for the police to have done a case, not to be justice, or something like it. I lately read they get extra money at the end of the year depending on how many cases they have done.
Indeed, this isn't justice. The only thoing you could to is going to law enforcement.
