Recently me and my hubby bought a new car, I sold my old car and now we have the new one and hubby's car. Now we both want the new car so we had a deal that we use the new car a week each...however my husband isn't still happy he is seeing his old car a junk so argues with me all the time that I have the new one and he the old one. He seems that he wants it for himself and I use the old car,,,,I issued a share on that car too so I think it is fair that we share it... what do you think are we acting as children??

i think thats just the joy of married bliss lol... but you are right, and yeah it should be shared. Have you got kids - because if you have you can say that it is much safer for you to be driving them in a new car, than an old one haha thats what i do... at the moment we are thinking bout buying a new car, and he wants a rangerover 4 wheel drive, so if it snows we are not housebound, and i want a mpv, with 7 seats so i have enough room for the kids, shopping and taking my mum out lol, but i know i will win, because he knows deep down it is more sensible for the family lol.

Hi Gauci123, I think that boys view cars as their toy. So when it comes to a later age, some men always want to have the latest car model, the lastest set of tyres, engine etc. I think your husband is being a bit selfish. I think that sharing the care one week each in turn is the most fair deal, after all both of you forked out money to buy it. I think he should grow up and stop acting as being a ten year old boy.
