Money makes many things -which has even affected the Doctors too. They are forgetting the promise to serve the humanity which they spell out while taking the degree in their hands. How bad it is.
Yes - Doctors are next to God when such a title is being hold by the doctors why are they at the back of money -after all what will they do earning this much money,it will be spent lavishly and for bad things too for sure.
Hope, they change their attitude and set their minds for service. Let them charge but in a nominal way so that the average person can take a treatment.
A friend of mine is a Doctor who has charged me Rs.30,000 for an operation - and I have to pay this amount only to maintain my dignity. How hard it is to earn this large money.
Some rule if framed by the Government will only safeguard for people like us.

i just had surgery to remove a parathyroid and before the doctor would even consider doing the operation he charged me 2,500 usd out of pocket before medicare and the reason is their not getting paid for consultations anymore. you can thank mr.obama and his new health plan for that. so it was a matter of losing the last kidney i had left or pay the price. so they have ya if the op is a necessity.
