In our Traditional custom, we have to wear 9 yards saree. Earlier the ladies were wearing 9 yards saree after marriage and gents were wearing dhoti. In our days, since we were going for work, we felt odd to wear it to the office. Hence we never wear. For marriage and occasions, we wear them.

Hi Umad,
I'm a Moslem in Indonesia. The dress we usually use is not really different with moslem in the other country, but what makes it looks little bit different, we had custom it. So it will looks more fashionable. For man, it calls "baju koko" and for ladies it calls "baju muslim". For certain occasion, like Idul Fitri, people try to give the best for what they wear. That's why many people work as a moslem dress designer.

hi,red,it's true, but there are people who still maintain traditional dress and in few cases atleast in holidays and festivals and going to temples/church/masjid.
One suggestion,if you don't take it otherwise...try to post atleast 3-4 sentences which gives you good earnings and good ranking also. All the best and have a nice time.

We, Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Christians can wear anything, except for those dress or costume that can corrupt the morals and promote illicit behavior. Conservative type.

As a Catholic we don't have traditional or required clothes to wear. Maybe before they preferred dress for girls, I don't know but now we can practically wear any clothes we like but ofcourse skimpy clothes and plunging neckline still needs not wear.

It must really be interesting to be part of a cultural change. What do you think about the change in dressing in India?
I was raised Roman Catholic, and a girl, we had to ear dresses and handkercheifs on her our heads to mass.
I haven't seen this practiced in SEVERAL years, but it may still go on in some Churches...
The last mass I attended, people wore jeans, short skirts, played with their cell phones during service...

like me..i'm a muslim in malaysia.as for girls and women..we do wear 'baju kurung' sometimes especially during our festive season..some women alos wear it to work..i think because it's comfortable and fleksibel..the design nowadays also kind of modern and a little bit of changes here and there make it really nice..the guys will wear 'baju melayu' especially during our own 'holy day' which is friday..but guys don't wear it daily or to work because it's a little bit unsuitable
