What do you do to get page views?

For all you AC writers out there, what do you do to earn page views? Do you promote your work on forums or social networking sites? I have been trying to earn page views on my work, but I don't think my online footprint is big enough to really make a difference.
I'd love to hear how other writers promote their work and how many PVs you get in a day or month!

You need to promote your article by networking. Do you have a facebook account? Post that you just completed an article and that it has been accepted. If you belong to Twitter, you can do the same or even with Myspace. Let friends and relatives know, they will help you spread the word as well.
Good Luck and Happy Writing!

Promotion is one thing I really need to improve. Yes, to get page views you need to promote your work on social networking sites, and among other AC writers by reading and commenting on their articles. I don't mind doing the second (although it is time consuming). I am not one who likes to do the social networking thing, but I have to say that it does work, particularly Twitter. I have just signed up for Facebook, so my results there are minimal.
Recently I started another writing program (not AC), and have been using Twitter to promote my articles, and I can see a definite spike in readership when I tweet. The key is to use the right hash (#) marks on Twitter to attract the right audience. Hash marks are categories that people might be looking up to find your article.
What types of social networking sites do you use?

I have a twitter account, but don't really use it. It's great to know what # marks mean now, though, I was wondering about that! I'll have to give it more of a try...
Right now I primarily use StumbleUpon to promote my work, but it seems to only help on the day I add it to the site. After that, the article views go back to normal (which for me is usually low!)

I dont normally promote my articles. I make a lot of money in page views though. Lately I have decided to add some links to my articles on my mylot profile page. Then I can get a little extra money from the people that want to learn how to make money online here at mylot. I also have decided to make a blog and put some links on there as well.

I interact on as many social networking sites as possible and writer groups where most members support each other by commenting when writing links are shared. The AC community is pretty good about returning comments, so I've learned to comment in order to get a comment back... seriously, it's all about building relationships -- sell yourself, you'll sell your product.
