Have you seen those clip things that put all your wires nice and neat together.I am soo tired of keep unknotting all the wire behind my tv aswell as all the pc wires they are forever looking all messy aswell as it is so disheartening when they all knot up again after a week.Even in the childrens bedrooms have wires every where from the tv aswell as their games consoles.

Jugs,,It ironic that you would bring this up as I just spend 30 minutes trying to straighten the wires from my tv, computer, speakers, internet box and router and my fan out. What a hassel..I ended up having to unplug everything to try to make sense of it all and then rehook. By Friday it will be all fowled up again. My dogs make it worse going back and forth and my little one lies on the wires behing my pc. Just another little aggravating thing to deal with, like we don't have enough on our plates already!! Everything should be wireless and in this day and age, why isn't it?

We are all waiting for the wireless age, I guess. At first I thought you meant a little child, but I see, by re reading, that your little dog lays down behind the computer.

I used to use cable ties, then one day when I was in Dollarama, I found velcro straps that do the same thing, but are easier to adjust and stuff.
I also have, a snake cord holder thing, that I haven't quite figured out yet.
With Appreciation.

Yes, and this can be dangerous. I would use one,
to fix my wires. These things is real handy. I
also keep a check on my wires that they do not
get to hot. I have wires everywhere like you. It
is a constant battle to keep them straight.

I need to get some of them. I didn't know they had a such a product on the market not that I had looked. My husband used ties to put the wires up and together because I was always gripping about it. I will have to text him about it. The only thing that could be better is if everything could be wireless.

They are very irritating, aren't they? I've seen a lot of devices to keep them in place bundled up but don't want to spend the money. I use twist ties and rubber bands when I want to bundle them up and get them out of the way. If they are in plain view I will cover the ties and bands with ribbon or lace to make them more attractive.

oh did you know that is a fire hazard? You really should arrange them in a way that it won't be a safety threat to your household.

This sounds so very formiliar .
I had the same thing with the Buzz's TV quiz game controllers.
The Playstation II game Buzz requirs special buzzer controllers to play. The thing is that these wires easily get knotted when you put them away without organizing them. I used the tie rips that come with the garbage bags to put them together. Now it's much easier to get them out and play. I didn't do that when they were all disorganized because it would take me a lot of time to get them sorted out.
I did this with all wires afterwards and it did take some time, but it saves me a lot of time and space now that it is all done .

I know exactly what you mean! I hate all those cords because it looks so disorganized. When they get tangled, sometimes they don't even work. However, a lot of times nowadays, people are getting smart and creating devices that are cordless/wireless. It's so nice, isn't it? I hope they continue doing so. The only thing is that a lot of them required batteries, which costs more money. However, lots of things also require a charging station that plugs in (rather than the entire device plugging in). I think those are nice because game consoles and things like that can have the controllers charging while the game box is wireless - not cords going from the controllers to the game console! My husband has some games he plays with at least two or three consoles. I'm so glad they're wireless now because that would be way too many cords for me. All his game controllers are now wireless so he'll plug them into the charger (that is plugged into the wall) and let them charge during the day. Then at night when he's home from work, they'll always be charge, and he can play with no cords going from the controllers to the game console. I think they're coming out with better things all the time to be more convenient for us. It's wonderful!

Yeah I have a lot of annoying wires too, and there really an eye soer I'm constantly trying to find ways to hide them because they make my place look to cluttered and its a bit dangerous to trying not to trip on them I have them everywhere because my place dosen't have enough covenant wall outlets I have to use extension cords and try to stretch them around safely is really hard especially if you have two floors like me I have an upstairs and downstairs. thats one of the many reasons I hope to move someday in to a nice house with lots of covenant wall outlets, so I dont have to use so many extension cords.

I use pipe cleaners to keep the wires from my electronics from getting in knots.I know about the annoying of dealing with video game controllers and such. I tend to put all of the old game systems I'm not playing into a box,a d put said box in the closet. When I want to hook up my old Super Nintendo, I usually spend a good twenty minutes trying to fish out the rf attachment, and untangle one of the controllers.
One time, I had a puppy who got long in a sea of wires. I saved him before he started to chew his way out of it though.

behind my telly looks like spaghetti junction, what i did was take an old washing machine pipe and slice down the middle of it,then tucked the wires into it,it was perfect, and it hid the wires lovely, not to mention free to do

I have a couple of places that the wires get all tangled up. One is all the wires for the TV, cable box, DVR, CD player etc. They are all on an entertainment center, and I can't move it. If something goes wrong and I need to replace something, I just have to pray that I get lucky and pull the right wire. Another place the wires are all mixed up is at the computer. There are wires everywhere, and if something is not working right, I can't tell which wire goes to what. I have tried to tag them and sort them out, but it never seems to work to well.

I have seen those clips but they are not worth the money. I bought a couple of sets of them and the small wires do not do too great in them. They are good for bigger stuff (extension cords) but the finer computer wires and stuff slip right through. I use bread ties or electrical cable ties on mine because you can get them tight enough to hold.

Hi JJ,
There are wires showing everywhere in my house too, it really annoys me yet you can get these 'tidy wire' gadgets and they do help though some of my wires are to thick to go in there eg the TV wire and Sattelite wire so sometimes it makes me wonder if it is worth using them...LoLo

I used to watch TV daily and I have never experienced such a problem. Do you constantly touch them? If you leave them alone, I think that they won't tangle up.

Hi
You should be very careful while wires are hanging here and there. Because elders will neglect about the wire. But children always play with the wire, some try to keep the wire in their mouth, and some try to relieve the wire and so on. So in a room keep the wires in safe position as safe as possible.
