hello mylotters. i just noticed when i logged on today that there was a star beside my name! also i just passed the 100 mark on my postings in mylot. seeing that star gave me a light and wonderful feeling, much like a child getting a star from her teacher. i am enjoying myself here in mylot! thanks!

hi charylady,yeah it feels good when you have a star.it's a reputation star,you got it because some users rate your posts from discussions,we have the same star!
well,i also have 7silver star last time but i think yellow 8 star is much higher rating than that!well, i really don't know!
but for sure it's how users rate you from your recent posts and responses!
it's very wonderful feeling when you have star,as you've said it's like in preschool that you're teacher gave you a star for doing such a great job,right!
how i wish i could do more here to earn more as well!

you will get your emoticons, once you reached three hundred post or five hundred, the emoticon will appear on the left side of the screen---mylot code

hello again charylady,well as of my stay here for a while i've learned the milestones here:100 posts you earn a star then 200 posts you can use emoticons,
yes,mrfdg,it is found at the left side of the message option box.
then 500 points for copy paste option.i really don't like the idea of this though it can be plagiarism for some users here. i have learned that some users tend to copy the answers of others and paste it to their own.how could they do that? just to earn? what the ....?
regarding stars,yeah i have gained some for now since i last post here.
well,let me show you the legend i've learned:
10 blue star - 95.5-100 (excellent)
9 blue star - 85.5-95.5
8 yellow star - 75.5-85.5
7 silver star - 65.5-75.5
6 pink star - 55.5-65.5
5 green star - 45.5-55.5
4,3,2,1 stars i forgot the colors,but it up's to you to compute the ratings,hehe

I am also not aware about this star thing on the upper part of my username. I already have achieve the 200 mark and I noticed that we have different types of stars with regards to its colors. I just wonder what does this color signifies as a member of mylot.

I know right? It feels really really good. I gotten my star quite recently also when I passed my 200 post mark. I am also enjoying this website, wonder why I haven't found it sooner
