Any Graphic designers using Odesk?

Hi Guys! I just made an account in Odesk because I heard that it's a very good site. I'm a graphic designer by profession and I'd like some insight from people who use odesk, especially from other graphic designers like me. I've been wondering a lot of things like how do the buyers conduct interviews? Do you need skype or some other program like that? How do you gauge how much to bid for a job? Any tips for me to land my very first job in odesk would be greatly appreciated!
