It is so freaking hot right now! I have two cooling fans to relieve me of this hot weather but it is definitely not enough. This has got to stop, well in my dreams right? It is our responsibility to take care of our planet and we didn't so it is al coming back to us. I should be sleeping right now because I have work tonight, but since I can't get the right mind to bring myself to sleep, I ll just tire myself in front of this computer until I pass out. Whew! How about you, what can you do with this kind of weather? Any suggestions I can do? Thanks!

Yah, climate change is for real. I recommend everbody to watch the documentary movie by Al Gore titled The Inconvenient Truth. It's an eye opener. I think we should do something about it especially the world leaders.. We should be united in this cause since it's a threat to our only HOME, Our Planet EARTH.

I have heard about that documentary and he is here recently right? or is about to come here? We should really do our part in saving mother earth. this is where we live in and we should keep it safe for many many years to come, for our future children and their children. We should all be doing something, even in our own little way.

It's getting hotter and hotter alright. It's starting to scare me. We didn't used to have this kind of climate, but as you said, we didn't take care of our planet, so now we are reaping our reward. I hope all countries' leaders would finally have an agreement about how to reduce carbon emissions. This global project can't start because of different countries' concerns like the fairness of the policies going to be implemented and free-riding by some countries. I just hope they'll realize how much more important it is to fix the environment than the concerns they have right now.

Ah yes. It's so hot this summer. At noontime, it is very hot because of the sun, but even the wind is hot too. I was on the bus between 1 to 2pm this afternoon, and I got hot wind being blown onto my face! Grr... I feel like your skin can get dark even with the sun really directly hitting you. Just the hot wind is enough. lol.
It is during these times that I am thankful I am working at a fully airconditioned place. whew! I'd suggest drinking lots of liquid or water so that the heat won't dehydrate us and give us momentary cool!

Of course I can feel it. Although I stay at a fully Air conditioned office, when I go out of office you can just feel that the heat is just too much to bear with. It seems like it is seeping through your skin and is not good to feel at all.
At home, the fan is really not enough but I think we have to resort to it and avoid using the aircon because the electricity cost is just not affordable at this time. The electric bills just rose despite us not increasing our consumption.

Our electricity bill too rose up high too! Almost 50%! Dang. That's why I always hesitate to turn on the AC because I know it will take its toll on me (the one paying the bills) *sigh* But sometimes I really cannot take it. Its like you would want to explode because of this hot weather. It affect how I work because I dont have enough sleep. Its just too exhausting.

Yes, it has been hot these days in most parts of the world. Fortunately, the place where I live not as hot as the place where you live. At least, I don't need a cooling fan yet.

Well good for you! Enjoy it! Because in some parts of the world, people are dying just because of heat stroke which is really sad. They don't have enough resources to at least help themselves fight this el niƱo phenomenon that we are experiencing now.

I do agree with you. It feels like my head will going to burst this extreme hot temperature the Philippines is experiencing right now. Oh gosh!when this abnormal temperature will end?even early in the morning, the surrounding is super hot that I have no choice but wake up and take a bath even if I want to sleep more until 7:00pm because I am on leave form work right now. I guess there's nothing more we can do about this weather but to accept it and drink plenty of water to avoid being dehydrated.

It was really hot and we can't stop sweating. My mom used all her hankies to wipe off the sweat of her back and face and still she keeps on putting out towelettes because the hankies are now wet with sweat .
The only thing we can escape this hot summer season is to go to malls and window shop or drink something cold with ice. Fans aren't enough because of the humid. Probably your AC will help but you cannot get it on for so many hours because the charges for electricity is way up high, you will sweat even more when you see your bill.

well not enough hankies for not enough sweats we have these days! I love going to the mall, its just that you still have to endure the hot hot sun until you get to your destination. Drinking lots of water is now a practice more than the usual 8 glasses a day requirement. Hahaha! I am not just sweating when I see my electric bill but I am definitely burning!

Hello redphile! I really can feel the abrupt change in our weather this days, before when im still young, there were no el nino or la nino phenomenon. All i can remember was the summer and rainy season but i didn't feel so much heat before during summer time unlike nowadays that it feels like im inside an oven during daytime especially between 10-3pm. Well, i always take a shower whenever im at home and use aircon but i only limit our use because of the high price of electricity plus the fact that aircon was not environmentally friendly. Try to sleep with a very comfy clothes like sandos and shorts, try to plant more trees or buy some potted plants and place it outside your bedroom so it could create a shade thus makes your room a little bit cooler and try to have some live plants inside your room it could create a much fresher atmosphere inside it. Have a nice sleep!

Yes, it's definitely hot right now in the Philippines. This is now the result of our recklessness and not taking care of our mother earth. Planting a lot of trees help mother earth cools down. It produces a lot of oxygen that helps us breathe.Drinking a lot of water help us replenished the heat we felt right now.

I really love it when I pass by a lot of trees it gives a cool breeze that you can never feel even in front of a fan. Mother nature really has gone wild and its all our fault. By now, we should have already started and continue planting trees and saving our home earth home.
