facebook, is it the worst thing to have ever happened?

in schools, local cybers, on phones everywhere you find them they are always on facebook. even in kitchen, in a taxi or in office everyone is on facebook. what did it do to people? what effect does it have on peoples' lives? are you one of them? do you think facebook is good or bad?

I have mixed feelings of Facebook.
I think that it is a good way to keep in touch with friends and family, but it can be VERY addictive.
I have also seen families and friends torn apart with people reading things the wrong way on Facebpook.
I also do worry a little about the security side of the website

Well Facebook good or bad is depend on how you use it. Overall, i think it give us much benefit if we use it properly. It make communicating more easy, and it help us connected to old friend, client, or people that we rarely meet. Facebook can help you become closer to friend that are far away, but it can also make you become far from friend that are locate near you. Thanks.

I know what you mean! I use facebook too but not as often as others would. Some people would be online for the whole day and that is something not good. I think some people are not smart enough in using facebook. I think there has to be some limitations that people should know for themselves.
