Who should open with Gambhir for India----Yusuf or Murali Vijay?

I think Yusuf Pathan is a typical lower-order hard hitting batsman. Had he opened an innings in the past? In domestic cricket at least? I'm not sure about that! But let's see how Murali Vijay performs in this T20 world cup. I mean India has played only 1 big game in this tournament. That is against South Africa and Murali Vjay failed to deliver getting out for none in the first ball. I think its too early to come to a conclusion about Murali Vijay. I think we should give him 1 or 2 more matches and see if he delivers with the bat, if not its better to switch to other alternatives.

if gambir is fit to play at one end then murali vijay is to be opened with him. if he is not going to open, then why the selectors took him as aopener, that too in the place of viru. murali vijay should open and prove his talent in indian cricket, he was selected above uthappa, so he should consider that and should perform to atay in indian team. if gambir is injured then yusuf should be opened with murali vijay. because indian team needs a good partnership in the opening wicket.

I think in the absence of viru..karthik should come with Gambhir neither yusuf or murali vijay...have a long experience than these two players..

I don't think it really makes much of a difference. Taking into account the format of the game,the pitch doesn't really get affected during the 20 overs.The thing is you should send those who are confident of playing well,going to get huge runs fast.It's not wise to send the same person at the same position or deciding on his position in the line-up. The order of the line-up must be unique for each match. happy mylotting lol!!...
