I have tried a lot of ways to lose weight, and all of them are really extreme diet plans. But one diet that did wonders was the South Beach Diet, but I ordered it, and had it delivered to me daily. It really cost me a lot for that two week meal. It was the most effective diet that I have ever tried, but it really costs a lot, especially of you plan on making it your permanent eating habit.
I'm really not sure what's the right food to eat. I also tried checking out the net, but I couldn't really find a meal plan that's for free. If you guys know some sites where I could get them, please post it here. THanks! :D

Oh my gosh! nixie, have I the site for you.
I would avoid the fad diets.
I have successfully been loosing weight since Christmas this past year.
I have done it on my own but since you as for websites, I will leave you with www.self.com instead of going into detail of what I have done. However, If you want a breakdown of what has worked for me, take a look at this discussion:

wow! I just read your post back there and I admire you for being able to follow that diet. I think I'll try this one. Have you gone over losing more than a pound per week?

Hi nixie, the answer is no. Not to my knowledge although I have not been weighing in weekly. It can be done though. If I were not so busy with life in general and were able to focus in more I likely would fine that I could be loosing over a pound a week. It really does work. I started loosing when I used the formula, without adding any more exercise that what I was already doing. I think we all retain water and feel that the water is what I lost first. Try the formula cos it works!

I did the Slim-Fast diet for awhile and they have a great on-line program that is free!! You can plan your meals and there is like a daily diary for what you eat and whatever exercise you do. It is really neat and you can connect with other people trying to lose weight there too!!

Sparks People (I think it's called) has really helped me this past week that I've starting "dieting" again (eating healthy & exercising and concentrate on losing twenty pounds). I just downloaded an app on my phone..It's super cool and easy. You can log your food diary, "weigh-in"s, exercise output, and so on. It's easier when there's a place that you can look up nutritional information, how many calories you burned while exercising, meal plans, and so on. It's pretty helpful. I really like having a tool like this - it really does help!

Count the calories as you eat. It’s a good idea to have an idea of the calories that most food items have. If it is a packed thing then the label is sure to have the calories that the substance has.
