How can we determine if a guy is a gay?

I have an ex bf who is courting me right now, we broke up before because of character differences. After we broke up, a friend of his told me that my ex bf is a gay. I was so shocked with that news, I don't know what to respond to his friend. At that time while we are still a couple he was 30 years old and I was 21. One thing that I've noticed in him that he usually adores me and appreciates me in what I wear and sometime he suggested some outfits to wear. He is a very soft spoken person and sweet, but we never kissed before in our relationship only hugs and embraces. As I've known he has a ex gf who is so beautiful, but his friend told me that it is true that my ex bf has past relationship. But that was only his front line to hide his true identity and all of his ex gf's are really attractive, So that he can show to all of his friends and other people that he really is a man.
Now I'm so bothered If he really is a gay or totally man, I still do like him. What do you think of him? shall I give him a chance or not? His not yet married until now and it's been 7 years that I haven't seen him and now he is 37 years of age and single.

try too ask him if what is his motive in courting you, try to go for a kiss, not a simple kiss. Make it interesting, if he goes for you then he is a man. If he don't like what is going on he is gay.

I asked him on what his intention of courting me and his answer is, he wants our relationship back. But he told me that one of his friend a guy, who is staying with him at his own house.. what do you think, is he a gay?

Yes, his guy friend is living with him and that guy is separated from his wife. But the guy has a kid who also lives with my ex bf's house.. We had talk with his guy friend, and he convince me that my ex bf still loves me.

Very easily we can understand whether a person is gay. First in his manners,his behavior as in voice it.Generally you can not hide from us that is homosexual.

the first thing i would do is have him get a blood test and make sure you get the results, because down the line you dont want to catch anything from anyone he may have slept with male wise. maybe he's bi but i think you know the answer to your question deep down inside, i'd stay clear. .
