Do you smoke when you are bothered or confused? Does it help in anyway?

Often times I find myself smoking when I have something that bothers me.
Sometimes I'm thinking that it would somewhat help but I'm not sure if it really does.
How about you?

I smoke more when I'm irritated or upset. The action calms me a little. Stops the angry shaking. Or maybe that's the nicotine helping. It doesn't really help the problem any and sure sometimes I'm so mad that I wind up chain smoking which is really bad. But when smoking is preventing me from taking my anger out on someone else and giving me a moment to stop and think, then it's helping. Even if it's unhealthy.

Yeah me too. I also find it somewhat helpful though I know it does not really help.

I hate smoking but i smoke it's one of the worst thing... THE SMOKING DOESEN'T HELP it damges you so stop smoking i tried to give up the smoking many times , but there isn't a success do not use medicaments who "helps" to stop the smoking! And finally it doesen't help when you are confused it is illusion. It's my opinion i for me is true for you , you decide :)
