What are the inconvenience you experience while shopping online...

A lot of peoples nowadays, prefer to shop online rather than going out and purchasing in a real shop. Such online shops include Amazon, Ebay, etc...
One disadvantage I noticed shopping online over offline is that when you want a replacement for a damaged item, it takes too long. First I need to ship them back to the seller/vendor and then wait again for some days for the replacement product to be shipped back to me.
If it's a real store near by to my house, I can easily walk and get it changed instantly. Or even better, I can check the quality as I shop, test them and then purchase. This is one of the real inconvenience I experience shopping online.
What are yours?

I know someone who always spends all of their money online and they see things that are only pounds and bargains in their eyes and when all the money has been taken out of their bank it is then that they realise how much they have spent or should i say over spent as they tend to bid on everything they see that they want and do not think of the total.I love to shop online mainly for the reason is i find it painful going out to the shops as i have problems walking so i get my food shopping delivered.I do also shop on ebay every now and again.

hi vincemcmahon to me there are only advantages as i can sit here and buy what i need on line and in some cases even get free shipping and thats a really great savings to me. I have shopped at Lands End for years and years and also Lane Bryant and had only good experiences with both of them so what is not to like with oneline shopping and being convenient and in your own home in your own easy chair that is real convenience for me for sure.

I usually shop online because they usually have the item in stock when the bricks and mortar store runs out really fast when there is a sale on.
I shop mainly on price and if I can get a significant savings, which I do not mind waiting for two or three days for most of the places I shop online, as I can compare prices right from home. I figure I have saved several hundreds of dollars over a few years, and I do not buy very often, mainly electronics. I can wait a couple of days if I can save a hundred dollars.
I agree that the shipping costs can be expensive so I always factor that into the prices. I have never bought from eBay because you are dealing with private vendors and can run into difficulty, sometimes with little recourse as there are so may scammers out there.

An inconvenience in shopping online is when you don't know if the seller are telling facts about the product. For example, they say that its real and original but once you've bought it, it's not.
