So pity that you lost your jewel. Have you heard of waist band!!! I have an antique waist band made of silver, which was presented to me by my grandmother when I born.

I do have one pair of rings and a bracelet given to me by the office mate of my mother for no specific reason. she only wanted somebody to take good care of it and its good that i still have those although the bracelet somehow depreciated.

I still have this crystal bracelet that my parents gave to me when I was a young girl. I guess I was like 4 or 5 when my parents gave me that bracelet. It's broken now and it doesn't fit but it's still a beautiful bracelet with heart shaped crystals. More importantly, it is the first piece of jewelry my parents gave me and I would always treasure it because it holds special memory because of that.

The oldest thing I have is a mother rabbit & her 2 babies necklace I got when I was around 6-7ish... I think she got it from Avon. I wanted to give it to my oldest daughter to wear and of course I started to worry she would not take care of it & they don't really want them wearing necklaces in school either so I have it tucked away.

I am sorry that you lost your parent´s gifth, I know what it feels like, I lost a silver necklace with a religious figure pendant some time back, and, regarless of the economic value, there is something that it is irreplacable about this things, and it is that they are a show of love, from the people that loves you most, in the world.
