yesterday when i just finished my shower getting ready for work getting my hair done i noticed my four year-old son staring at me. Curious of why he was staring at me i asked him what the problem He smiled at me and said "ma i just thought about me growing up what kind of shoes i should buy for you since you like being pretty" I never realized that kids right now could be so thoughtful.never fails to melt mommy's heart.

awww,that's so sweet.
just yesterday,my little girl hugged me and told me "nanay, we're best friends". simple words from a 3 year old but big impact for me.

That was really sweet of your sond to say that. But yes, children do that always.I have heard accounts of mums being praised by their children all the time.I think that because the first example of woman for a child is the mother, they are always besotted with their mums.My daughter always praises me whenever I dress up nicely. She compliments me everyday saying,"mummy, you look very nice int his dress" or "your dress is very beautiful,it suits you".and she is only 6.I think children always like their mothers when they are small because they donot have anything bad in their minds, nothing clouds their opinion about their mothers when they are that small.Well, regarding melting mommy's heart,it is made to melt!:)I think so atleast.I love how my kids come up to me and snuggle whenever I lie down for a rest.the way they speak without any pretension at all, says loads about the purity of their love for mummy.

i have a four year old son too. a little over a few nights ago i told him to behave because i'd be sleeping already and he just ask his father for anything he wants. my son and i were in the bedroom and his father is working late on the pc outside the room. just then i felt my son moving on the bed. he's hyperactive so i thought he was playing again on it. i reprimanded him and sat still he did.
you know how 4 year olds are. they tend to talk even to themselves and sometimes you'd find out a thing or two. he was talking the next day and he mentioned that he was trying to pat mommy's bottom. he sees his dad doing this as sometimes this helps me fall asleep. so that was bad, bad mommy the other night.
i asked him if this is what he was trying to really do and he said yes. i was touched and i felt sorry for him. i did tell him i'm sorry and i thanked him for his (failed) deed.
he seemed also touched by my sorry and thanks. sometimes little people just seem little. but they also feel how we feel.

Ya, we feel great when our child praise us. It feels great really. In this 21th century kids are more smarter. They notice us every day, every minute. Sometimes child makes copy of his parents because in childhood he completely rely on parents and facinated about what they do and how they do. He keep notice us all the time. By the way congrats for having nice and thoughtful son, I am sure he is too cute. Isn't he?
