To be a good teacher, one should always be ready to improve. Always get some activities into your teaching. Humor works wonders. Try to get variety into teaching. Form a bond with the children. Try to make them feel that they have to try harder to be a better student in the subject.
There are many resources available in the bookstores or on the net. Try to get those.
Hyper Active students, well. First thing first, they should never be behind in the class, always keep them seated in the front of the class. Question them often. Challenges work with these children. Challenge them with some high level activity.

to be a good teacher, you need to be a good listener. you need to learn what your students need and expect. sense of humor works a lot, it makes the teaching livable and not boring, you have to be prepared, and make your visual aids not to crowded. the student doesn't want that his teacher is unprepared and doesn't know what he's talking about. hope this helps

You should see what other teachers, who are successful in these areas (disipline, motovation, etc) are doing. A good combination of ideas from a number of people will give you something to get started with. Good luck.

Being a good teacher is not just about having a skills or knowledge that we acquire in our education. Being a good teacher we must teach not only just what they want to know. A teacher should not only focus on intelligence but to help them develop holistically including physical, emotional and social aspect of the child.
A good teacher know how to motivate each child by knowing what interest them. We should know what they like, what they want to do and what they need. Motivation is important for a child because it will help the child to have interest to learn. A good teacher should have a knowledge in classroom management. Classroom management is not just about the arrangement of room but also managing the child before, during and after classroom hours.
