I don't know the exact answer of that...if you say animal lover it is so general. Specifically I love dog and cat, these are domestic animal. I can't say I love dinosaurs or dragon because I am an animal lover. Maybe it should be specific.
At some point, I was just really so bothered of it. I can hear a lot of people talking about being an animal lover but I don't know how to categorize a person as one.@adeena2000 (845)

sometimes we joke around like the boyfriend of our friend is "animalistic attitude", we teased her that she is an animal lover... did you get my joke?lol

Animals they may be they still manage to keep people happy. Each animal is unique because no two animals are alike even the same looking ones can be differentiated by their behavior. Because of the need to keep away from stress, many are turning into keeping pets in order to get an escape from problems and thats when they are called animal lovers.

yes, i am! I guess that the most of the people are
especially when they see a little cute
puppy or kitten or some other baby animal.
I have had a cat, but she is by my grandmother,
because I live in another town now, and don't
have the opportunity to take it with me, so
that's why I gave it to her, and she is really
happy with it!

hi elsmarie, your question is what is the basis of an animal lover? my answer is there is no basis being an animal lover.. .. heheh that is because it is an inborn ability in us. when i say it is inborn. i mean it is in us from the day we are born.. it depends on us if we love animals or not it depends on the person.. as i mention earlier.. it on us if we like to take care of animals.. i hope i answered it hehe...
