one of the most important thing is you don't go for the money, it will just follow. if your first love is to write anything under the sun then this site is really for you. what i like here is meeting new people, asking their insights with regards to my interests, and also asking for their opinions mostly from the experts on their field.here you learn and have fun while earning

This is really excellent advice Patzi_anele! This way you have more fun, and you do not stress over the payment too much. So all newbies should really try to follow this advice, it really makes all the difference!
(I am still a newbie myself, but this was among the first things I took to heart when I got here...)

i have 1.79 but i've been away from mylot for a few months. i should have reached 3 or 4 dollars by now lol. And yes, posting LONGER comments (with quality of course) makes a difference. Try commenting for more than 20 discussions with long responses and you'll see you earnings go HIGH! So for people whose first language is english... it's easy for them to reach 10 dollars in no time.

So far I've earned 1.74$. I've been inactive recently because of being busy with other things.
Unlike other users that visit mylot to practice English, I'm fairly confident in my abilities so I post for money. Both me and the site owners will benefit anyway so everyone is happy.

i am new here.i earned only $0.30 here so far.
May be at this rate i can make about 2.5 $ per a month.
I think I need to improve because I have to get used to the earning scheme here.

I am here sine three days , so i didn't earn :) but i have 0.30$ , i don't visit this site for the money , i practice my english , write with other people , here you are connected with the whole world , nice site , nice discussion , good job bomii
