this is a japanese film, that is based on a futuristic japan, in this movie they will select a class of highschool students and let them kill each other with random items till one of them survives.
if you haven't watch it in youtube.
this is one of the films that you must definitely see. it's so creative

Battle royal traditionally refers to a fight involving three or more combatants that is fought until only one fighter remains standing. in recent times the term has been used in a more general sense to refer to any fight involving large numbers of people that are not organized into factions. within combat sports, the term has specific meaning, depending on the sports being discussed.

Yeah. It's actually based on a book. I saw the movie years ago. I have yet to see the sequel to it though. I need to check that out actually. I think what is so interesting about this is the fact that it's not that they're "LET" to kill each other, but forced to. They're given a time limit and if more than one is left by the end of that time, they are all killed.
