I cannot fault most of my clients if in the market now they are looking for a property that is listen under 'rent-to-own'
i guess this is the most effective and cheap way of buying a property now.
one does not need papers or would be thinking of monthly amortization. rent to own would just like be a regular--renting of propery but in the end you'll get the propert.
But you know what , at the top of my list I don't really recomend this to my clients; most of the rent to own units in the market are placed because they are the last resort of the owners to dispose their property. It's either the property is dilapidated already and needs too much repair. But then again it still depends on the intent of the buyer.
But i tell my clients--if you are not as so much concerned with the house and the lot area of the property is big, get the property; this is the advantage of rent to own properties--its not really the house that you are buying but the land of which you can use--you can put up a much more grand house than the one standing.

dear naisan,
it is good to own a rent to own property than just rent for the sake of renting. am sure there are lots of properties that looks well and not that dilapidated as i imagine. only a matter of choosing.
have a very nice day.
