Life being like a roller coaster is a very accurate statement in my opinion. I mean there are high points in life and there are low points, much like a roller coaster. Not to mention without the low points, life would not be life, much like without the lower points of the roller coaster, it would not be a roller coaster. Do you think this is an accurate statement? I am looking forward to reading your responses.

i think that's crazy because it's an understatement.. life is more than a roller coaster.. it has highs higher than high and lows that could drop into an unending abyss..

Very well said and that can be true. Life can drop below that roller coaster from time to time in a gaping chasm. It can launch you up into the sky, beyond the clouds is well. Hopefully for the most part it is a bit more stable but life can be a bit hectic. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think at any point, you could really compare life to anything and be accurate, depending on what you are looking for. That's the great thing about life, as there are many potential interpretations. Thank you for for your response, it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I have to say my life is one big roller coaster. When I think I'm getting to a happy point in my life, suddenly something happens to make it opposite. It's just a repeated pattern with life.Doesn't stay the same.

Yes, in the end, the biggest lesson is nothing stays good forever. Still with these down points, we cannot really appreciate the good stuff in life. Just like we cannot appreciate the height of a roller coaster without going down every now and again. Life is really like an endless roller coaster, sometimes going higher than ever before and sometimes dropping down lower. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I have to say that it is a very accurate statement. There are high and low points, there are points in life where it goes by pretty fast, fun and exhilarating and there are also points where life just becomes slow and quite routine. This is the same as a roller coaster, usually when you hit a low point, it takes time to regain yourself. Much like a roller coaster where it is slow when it is going up the ramp. When it is at its highest then the fun starts, the ride becomes exhilarating, adrenaline rush and you feel good, excited and scared all at the same time. All that could be over in a split second, life has away of kicking you down when you are at your highest. Its surprising how quickly life robs you of your happiness, much like how fast you are in the coaster from the high points to the low points. This is a really interesting discussion, I had fun replying to it =)

Yes, it seems like when you are at the highest you are always brought back down to earth. You keep going up and up, and then when it ends, you go down. Then eventually you get pulled back up. A situation that can be describe either a roller coaster or life in general. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think that's the most popular statement... Life is like a roller coaster, sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down. Life is designed to be like that. No thrill. no obstacles, no excitement and no hassle is so boring. No challenge at all.

Yes, its just best to enjoy the ride sometimes and see where it takes you. Otherwise, life is not really worth living. If it is just up, up, up, then it is boring. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hey Megamatt. Yes I do think that Life can be a rollercoaster. Like You said... There are high points and there are low points. It's really cool don't You think? I mean... Yeah... Some of us think that having a good life would mean that everything would come easy. But in actual sense, the hardness of life, makes life interesting. i mean, i'm not saying that going through hardships is exciting... But what what I'm sayig is that... when we put all these experiences together... The hard times, the good times... we learn... and in the end, the fulfillment of making it thorugh all those times, that in the end, we survived! Yep... Life can be a Roller Coaster. But it depends on how we view it too. If we just focus on the negatives of life, then we will get negative results.

The hardships can make the good times that we have in life look even better. If we just had good times, without any problems, then the good times would not be that good. It is not good to be completely positive or completely negative. There has to be ups and downs, like a roller coaster. Otherwise, life is rather incomplete in many ways. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Life is a ROLLER COASTER. You were right with the ups and downs. It really resembles life. The ride is just short so you must just enjoy it. There would be some parts where it might hurt a bit but what matters is that you made it until the very end.
