i've heard that girls are better listeners than guys, how true is this?

It depends from who is talking and who is listening. When a guy speaks with an other guy, or when a wife speaks with his husband, or when a woman speaks with other woman: all type of conversation will be different in the topics that they touch. Whining or giving advices: this depends from a persons age, I think. And the social role that he or she takes in the life. As for me, I find that man speak more wisely and up-to the date and to the topic, while woman speak about everything and non-stop while at the end she does not give an added value to what has been said. Woman often speak about kitchen, about food or about shopping, about children or about fashion, or about social relationships and who said what and who did what. While man are more practical and they really speak about important things, like: how to mend the roof, where to earn money, how to buy this or that thing more cheaper. I have noticed that man do not give out so many personal details as woman do. They will avoid to speak about the members of his family or about their neighboors or work collegues, while woman will use every possibility to start blaming someone or to speak out everything that is on her heart because of the annoying neigboors, for example, or a working collegue who drinks too much of cofee.

Yes definitely the Girls give Important to the feelings and the guys give the maximum important to there desires. So the Girls listen others while most men won't do that. Its not a problem because the man Brain is designed like that. Because he have to earn for his family. If he had any feeling then he won't compete with others in any business or work. I am a girl and I have to admit that I have found that my guy friends tend to be better listeners than my girlfriends. Friends tell me that I am a great listener but I really can't think of any girl I know that I would call when I just need someone to listen. However, there is a problem with discussing my problems with men...they want to fix it. Men have a tendency to want to fix things, solve the problem. Sometimes I want help, other times I just want someone to listen to me while I vent. Women are less likely to volunteer advice, but more likely to compete with my situations. When a woman listens to your problems she almost always has a story of her own on the topic. She will tell her story and turn the attention onto herself. I am guilty of doing this from time to time and I hate it when I do so I try really hard not to.
