Why does ABS-CBN allow such ridiculous behaviors from their stars?

His pride already ate him. XD Anyway, I know I'm not in the right place to say this but I never admired the way abs-cbn handles their talents. I think Angel Locsin did almost the same thing. Look where she is now. And look how her career is now. Tsk

i think becomes more arrogant and worse because he knows that people like him because of his show and that ABS CBN tolerates him. even if he does wrong, ABS stlii gets and supports him. he must be given a lesson.

Well, we really don't know yet if ABS-CBN has reached a decision. A company can't fire somebody right there and then just because of his attitude.. unless it is stated in their contract. Although his stand is noble, his unprofessionalism will be his undoing. I would think before I act if I were Willie.

Willie is very proud and arrogant. If I am one of the bosses of ABS CBN, I would definitely accept his resignation. There are many good host out there. Willy thinks that without him wowowee will be off air. His act definitely showed that he has no respect to his bossess, imagine how he demanded threatened his bosses to kick someone? Definitely NOT A GOOD EXAMPLE TO AUDIENCE!

Because the drama rakes in the money. The drama rakes in the viewership. And they are building Willie's image as the maka-masa man who gives hopes and dreams and other people a chance. He's been with the network long enough to know which as$ to kiss, which elbow to rub, and which secrets are worth breaking the company unless it kisses his a$$ back. ABS CBN can't kick him out because the network itself is a rotten piece of BS. On a related note, money-generating schemes are evidenced by the low quality, poorly written and cast shows, that only get much airtime because of the hype they themselves create, and because of the "actors" who don't even know how to act but have a huge fan base (Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo, ring a bell?). Even the evening news became the weekday The Buzz. It always features something about the "celebrities" like we even give an F. This network is also responsible for the hype surrounding the upcoming elections, that is, the surveys and the "leading" candidates. ;) This company should be burned to the ground.

Willie is so arrogant, he should be subjected to disciplinary action. The ABS CBN should accept his resignation, he is not only the one one capable of running wowowee, pokwang is a potential.

Is Willie already resigned? Willie is not shameful about his act, for real he is very proud and confident that Abs will listen to him. I really don't know the reason why he seemed powerful in ABS when you look at it he is not the only star that brings money inside ABS. ABS have so many talented stars and he is not talented though, he even don't have the face and his attitude is such a devil. ABS should be responsible with the way their artist's attitude. ABS don't need Willie. Some of my friends says they watch Wowowie because of Pokwang. And when they see the face of Willie they already switch the Channel to Eat Bulaga. However we can't judge ABS as a whole in this matter, but if ABS resolved this one professionally then there will be no problem. Personally if Willie resign, everyone will be happy.

Probably, he thinks he's good and people love him so much. He should have showed that attitude. But he has the right to decide what he wants.

i think willie is one and only with such attitude. huh! he's so arrogant and he feels like he's the only gem of abs cbn. well i guess abs should accept the resignation to teach him a lesson and lets see where he will go after that. i think they can always find someone who can replace him in the show...i think it will still run even without him since people are really after with the prices he's giving and not really with him. hehe

For me it's not surprising at all for celebrities to have really disgusting attitudes, whichever station they belong. But what I've noticed since before is that ABS-CBN stars are the ones who have the 'best' attitudes. I think the reason why their stars have incredible traits is that they believe that they are bringing a lot of money to the network and that they are confident that the network won't mess up with them. What an attitude really! ABS has great stars but they lack discipline and the right attitude towards work, with colleagues and with fans.

Its because ABS-CBN is poor in terms of implementing their own rules and regulations to disciplines their own artists.

Willie has an attitude even before when he's not that famous. If I remember right he guested on Mel and Jay show in the early 90s and my first impression on him is he is really cocky although funny at times. When he joined the MTB with Randy and John, the trio became a big hit until the time they went uncontrolled and got suspended. Willie was not able to work again on that show and the ABSCBN noontime shows rating dropped significantly. It was eating dust behind Eat Bulaga. But then again ABSCBN bring back Willie believing that he could resurrect the former glory of their noon time show. And Willie did not disappoint. The Wowowee was a show that was made and design for Willie and it becomes a big hit. I think it becomes one if not the biggest earners of the station. I think this is the main reason why the company has a hard time dealing with his attitude. Even Willie said it to the national Television that the Wowowee is earning millions for the company. Willie's head is inflating faster than his success.

That's showbiz! In general showbiz people are just so full of themselves. At ABS, Willie is on top 1 on that category. Imagine getting paid a million a day. He has been corrupted by his money and fame. Yup. He got more than what he can chew. Showbiz and politics, when you combine both makes one corrupted person. I say, go ahead Willie, resign! Wowowee, the program which had put you at the status you are in can survive without you.

As far as my view is concerned, I think this is not the issue of the talents of any network. It is only the issue of Willie himself. We cannot deny the fact that almost all networks and not only ABS-CBN have their own shares of ill-mannered talents, may they are shown in public or just being kept from the public.If ever he will resign, let him go... If he will transfer to another network... so be it. Let us just think this way, if he will transfer to another network, for sure he will also do this thing to them. We all know that during the time when Willie was so down and torn into pieces, it was ABS-CBN who picked him up. I love him as a host since I also noticed that he was good at it and he has soft-heart when it comes to the poor but I will not tolerate this kind of issue. For us viewers, it is not worth discussing which network is good or bad, we have to consider the show that we are watching whether it is from one network or from the other. I am a fan of ABS-CBN but if I think the show is not that good, I am not watching it and I try to look for another show which I think better to watch and without destroying the good morality of human may it is from channel 7 or any other tv stations. Let us be responsible viewers...

Yeah I have to agree with that. He acts likes he own the station or is the chairman of the board there. I think it is pretty normal that in a large corporation like that you will encounter somebody that is not in your liking and you cannot just order the management to let go of that person or he will resign. I think that is just very arrogant and unprofessional at all. I think before he acts like that become a majority stockholder of the company or at the most become the president of that company before you can do what you want with any employee in that station. I think ABS is seriously looking into that matter and I heard both parties are asked not to air their sides on air anymore and if they could settle the issue mutually then better.

Maybe it's because they consider willie as a savior. For a long time, channel 2 has been eating dust in catching up with eat bulaga. for the first time ever, they were able to catch up (i don't know if wowowee did really beat ET) but if that's the case Channel 2 may consider willie as their knight in shining armor. But you know willie, he knows how to push the right buttons. I think channel 2 is full of beautiful, talented yet superficial talents. I prefer more of their shows than GMA 7 because they have good artists but in comparison i think GMA 7 is living up to its name kapuso. I think it's just a matter of time before willie comes out and apologize and say how sorry he is to gain sympathy. If his antics worked before and channel 2 let is pass i don't know if they'll do it the second time around because if they do so people will think that they're being controlled by willie and not the other way around. besides willie need channel 2 more than channel needs him.

Pride and arrogance made Willie act unprofessionally.

Willie should watched himself again and see how arrogant he was at that moment. He could have called Mr. Sucaldito personally rather than show his rough personality on national TV,even internationally because of the TFC I'd rather watch afternoon news than Wowowee or Eat Bulaga
