Hello, Guys! I am just curious... Well, these past days, it seems that Korean entertainment is invading the world... Since, Rain started doing Hollywood movies and Wonder Girls sons, Nobody Nobody hits the chart all over the world...
As for me, I love watching their movies and drama series, since it has different taste from where I live, I am too tired of drama that has too many killings and something like that...
Here's my list:
For Movies- I love A Moment to Remember and Portrait of a Beauty.
For Drama series: I have too many, but recently, I am getting hooked with two popular drama airing in Korea right now, Personal Taste and Cinderella's Sister ^_^

i loved watching movies also even there's translation on it!
ther's this one movie that i don't want to watch,i guess it's korean horror movie with a scene like one woman is peeling another woman's nail on her foot.
her scream really makes scary as if you're feeling the same pain as if you're the one being peeled a fingernail!
well, enough of that scary movie.i loved watching jeon jhi hyun.(i love her face,i even made her my profile picture here! did you see that?). i love "my sassy girl",which is a sad combined comedic romantic story.also "windstruck" where she portrays a young police officer, same as sassy girl it's more of a sad love story.i also liked "il mare",it's like romantic fantasy where is the story of an extraordinary relationship that literally spans time.the characters lived in different year but still they get to write with each other using the same mailbox!
it's like really impossible in real life! i remembered sandra bullock had a film like this!i also loved "the classic"!i don't remember the story there, but i know i liked that movie!i have watched many korean films but i don't remember the title anymore!
wish i could watch korean movies again!

I haven't saw that movie you are talking about a woman peeling out a nail of other woman... I'll try to find it... Hahaha
Another JJH fan, hehehe... Well, you are right about her and her movies. She is really pretty that she was chosen to play a Vampire Slayer in a Hollywood movie. Il mare is my favorite among the three movies of her that you mentioned. I saw Lake House of Sandra Bullock first then I heard it was a remake from a Korean movie so I tried to search it on the net and watched it... It was romantically good ^_^

hey that's really very nice to hear. Well as for me. I don't have a specific taste for movies. But I would always want to see a comedy movie. No matter whether it is Korean, or Hollywood or bollywood. It should tickle your spine.

I really just became obsessed with You're Beautiful. It's such a lovely drama. Park Shin Hye is so adorable. She's the reason that I got hooked on Stairway to Heaven. The younger cast was by far superior to the older cast; once they grew up, I didn't even bother to finish that drama. I also like My Girl too, which is written by the pair of sisters who scripted You're Beautiful too. Full House and 1% of Anything are also great ones. I usually only watch the more mainstream ones. When I'm feeling weepy, I like to turn on Autumn in My Heart or Spring Waltz. The scenery in those dramas are gorgeous, and I love the leads.

Stairway to heaven is very popular, I liked it, I was pregnant when I saw that on TV, waiting each episode every day... And cried every night after finishing it... ^_^

I also like watching Korean drama and movies but I dont get to watch it very often these days. I am really busy but I am still interested in them. The last Korean drama I watched that I really likes was My Girl. I think it was released 5 years ago and I dont know if anybody from here heard about that. My favorite Korean movie is The Classic. I love it so much especially with the twist and turns in the movie.

The Classic is a classic... I also loved that movie.. I watched that because, Son Yeh Jin is one of the cast... It made me cry so much and then overwhelmed with happiness in the end. ^_^

There is just something different with how the Koreans make their dramas and movies. They will really make you laugh. They will really make you cry. I am a real big fan of these especially because I also have a lot of Korean friends who are close to me.
For movies, I like "A Moment to Remember" and "My Sassy Girl". I am a guy and it is a shame for me that I really had my tears out on those movies.
For dramas, I like "Save the Last Dance for Me", "My Girl", "My Sassy Girl, Chun-Hyang" and the "Coffee Prince".
I watch these things every time I am on vacation and have nothing to do. =)
