Block 123, 'patintero', hide and seek, 'luksong tinik', 'tumbang preso', Chinese garter, Jack Stone, chess…. Those were the games we played with my childhood friends way back when we were in elementary schools.
We’ve been so very active back then to play those games…Sometimes we get to a heated argument, someone will cry or get hurt. That’s healthy in playing those games… that’s where we build and discover our character… That’s where we hone our thinking skills…
Unlike today, we busy ourselves to work, or playing or surfing in computer, we go to gyms, we find sometime to our hobbies or we play usually basketball/volleyball which grown ups like us do…
I miss my childhood games… I miss my childhood friends… How about you all myLotters? Remember your childhood friends playing games?

Yeah, as far as I am concerned, I think I admire you so much that you have played so many games when you were still young. When I was a young boy, I just played so few games in my daily life. It may say that my childhood is not so happy as yours. Though it is not so enjoyable like yours, I still enjot it a lot. For I have made a lot of good friends at that period, which I think I will value so much in my future days.

I played all of the games you have mentioned except Chess . I never played chess, I know and I feel my brain will explode when I tried to play chess. I still remember my childhood friends they are my neighbor still and already have their own family. We are not in good terms now since we have our own life to lived with. It is good to go down memory line and reminisce about our childhood where everyday seemed a happy day

I used to play a lot of games when I was a child. Children gathered outside and played in the streets. There were always mother´s eyes to check on us (and to stop us from being too naughty). We lived in a real neighborhood and everyone knew each other. Cars seldom crossed the path of our games and we had all the street for us to play. We played with marbles, ropes and balls. Occationally we broke a neighbor´s glass. Life was full of adventure then. Yes, I remember it. And I´m very sorry my grandchildren never had those riches I did.

In our changing times... There could be a lot of obstacles why children today can't play like the way we did before... Cars on the street... A place too small to run around or play with... Computer games... There could be a lot of adventure for children today... But not as the way we had before...

I miss my childhood too. We used to play all-Pinoy games bu t I am always the baby because I am the weakest link. I was fat then that's why I cant' finish the Chinese Garter levels. i was not so good in Jackstone so I always been saved by my other teammates.

When I was young , I was exposed to more different games
and so happy with it with all my might.
We are all enjoyed in the group and do different games
in one day. Go home if we are called by our parents to do
things at home.Everyday we meet in one place and talk anything
that could make us happy and gay.I missed those early years
but glad to see them now.I wish we could see each others in
group someday.

I only know two of those games, hide and seek and chess. I remember playing freeze tag, tag, cartoon tag, color tag, numerous other random types of tag, man hunt (team hide and seek), fish out of water, marco polo, red rover, dodgeball, kickball, four square, wall ball, and a lot more.
I have actually played some of these games recently while i was in college haha. We played hide and seek pretty much randomly and we played tag while roller skating haha.
You just have to find the right people who will play and joke around with.

Haha! You really do have a lot of games when you were in your childhood! Those I mentioned in Tagalog were mostly games here in the Philippines...
Anyway, different cultures/countries have different games that is fun to play with and of course! you just really have to find people who will play and joke around with!

I used to play all those games when I was still a kid but I didnt like "tumbang preso" at all cause I was always "it" and I could never catch somebody because they were faster than me. I played chinese garter and I am very good at it. If there's going to be an olympics for it, i'm sure I am gonna win.
