It's my birthday. I just turned 26 and I guess I should be thankful for another year. I haven't done much. No career to speak of. I'm a single mom and everyday I couldn't help but wish for another chance to give myself and my son a better life. Everyday is a battle that I have to face with my family and I keep wondering when will it be our turn with the good life? If I can have a wish that can come true, I'd want to be able to give my son a birthday party. He's turning 3 on July 6th. I want people to know that I'm glad he came to my life even though it was unexpected. I want him to call me 'mommy'. My boy can't talk straight yet. I want to have my own business so that I can prepare for his future. It's very frustrating when I can't have the things I wanted for myself, let alone what I wanted for my son...
