how to lean HTML?

Hi, HTML is a very simple coding language to create web pages. The full form is Hyper Text Markup Language. When you write something in HTML in your text editor say, Notepad, and then save the file with an extension of .htm or .html , the file is saved as an web page. HTML can produce only static effects to an web page. To make it dynamic you have to learn other stuffs like javascript etc. HTML basically works in the layout level of an web page. Dynamic effects include form submission, field checking etc where HTML can't reach. You don't need anything to learn HTML. Just any text editor installed in your system and a browser to see the web pages you created are the two things that can make you a genius in HTML. There are so many good tutorials you may find online on this. HTML stands for HYPER TEXT MARK-UP LANGUAGE!! It was earlier used for designing web pages.But know many other softwares have come up that are much faster and better than HTML.Html is, like any other language.Its coding is done using wordpad or notepad.then saved with .htm/.html file extension. It comprises of pre-defined tags that are used for coding. If u really wanna learn HTML, the best is to buy a book. I suggest you dont use the internet services since its not well organised way of learning.

it is easy to learn but hard to master. just googling it will lead to several websites that cater to such. but i can't believe that a experienced web user don't know this one.....

Ok, basically html stands for HyperText Markup Language, it is great for making websties, a program you could use is notepad on windows but when you are saving make sure you save as a .html and the file types is selected to all file types. Is this a kind of trap question?? It is as easy as you read and learn. You should have computer and the reference. The media of reference can be gotten from bookstore, internet, campus, and many others. In my opinion you should buy or get freely, whatever you can, those reference then try to make a simple website to practice it.
