The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

After watching the previews for the new movie of " The Last Song" starring Miley Cyrus, I started to look up the book written by Nicholas Sparks. I came across a lot of books from him that turned into well known movies that I have seen or own. I've been reading "The Last Song" for a bit now, and almost done with it. It's one of those books that you just can not put down!! I even started to get a little bit of tears forming, since I am getting closer to the end. I know most guys won't read or even consider watching the new movie, since how it is a "chick-flick"... but I strongly suggest that everyone should at least read this book.I haven't seen the movie yet, but I am really anxious to compare the movie to the book. I can now say that he is my favorite author. He definitely knows how to get his readers interested through the whole book and helps the readers feel like we are part of the story in each book. I have never read a book where I could actually feel the characters emotions, to where I felt like I was one of those characters. Again, I would really encourage everyone to at least read it and post what you think. Anyone ever seen the movie or read this book yet? If so, I am sure you can relate to this then :)
