Do you really care if you get best response or not?

In fact I have never cared about that.I just write what I think and if somebody rates me this way I won't have any problem with it but it is not the main thing for me.I just write because I need to share some things with more people and want to say my personal statement about many topics.

Hello Hotranger, I do not look for mine to best answer. I know there are alot better replys to these questions. if it happens then that is great but I do not make a point to look for them. It is like a treat. If you are constantly looking for your to best are you not putting perfection above the reply instead replying form the heart or from what you. I can remember how great it seemed in the early days when I received a best response, and it is still nice to get the ocassional one. Nevertheless it is far from important since I participate in Mylot for entertainment value and as long as I am enjoying the discussions then I am happy.

no, not really. it isnt that important to be the recipient of the best response nod. i just like to answer discussions that are interesting to me.

I don't pay attention to whether or not I got best response.However,when I receive a email notifaction telling me I am the best response,I get excited and very happy to know that someone liked my response so much.But if someone doesn't choose me,it doesn't bother me and I usually forget and don't even notice.I only notice when I am emailed that I am best response.

it doesnt matter to me if they choose my response as best response or not as long as i tried my best to leave a response to that post based on my own point of view and experience, and whenever i give respond, i dont really expect too much as theres thousand of members here also so i dont want to compete my response to them, just give your best shot to every post according to what you can share without expecting any from them and if they choose me then its a credit for me of course as it means that my effort was not taken for granted, just dont expect too much so you will not get disappointed at the end, just enjoy it here and wait till you reached your payout.

It really doesn't bother me whether my response is chosen as best response or not. I don't really care about it. If my response is chosen as best, okay, that's good. But if it's not, then that's good too. It's really not why I respond to people's discussions. I respond because I find the discussion interesting and I want to write what I think, while reading what others have to say.

hi, hotranger, no, i dont care about being awarded that best response, i just respond to discussions for fun, you know? its for the person whos asking his question, to get his answer which might be of use to him, and another reason why i dont respond to discussions for that best response or attaining a best response is because i simply forget, thats the honest answer, and then my mind wanders over just to replying to the discussion and satisfying that person's curiousity, this is for all those mylotters out there who truly value "best responses" in a very competetive way, remember, responding to a discussion is more than just getting that golden best response, its about helping someone out, dont stress yourself if you didnt get a best response on your answer, or if its already been taken by someone and you have arrived to respond to the discussion too late. Im sure that we all must have that craving for a best response, after all, were all proud of our responses and think that they should be heard, and i have had many a times those cravings too, im not abnormal, just like everyone else globally who was tempted to get that best response one way or another, and now that you brought this discussion on, i think that i started craving a "best response" once again!!! No. I don't really care if my response is chosen best or not. The thought never even enters my head as I'm responding to a discussion. I choose to respond to a particular topic either because it holds some interest for me or because it's something I feel strongly about. That's it. I give as honest a response as possible and leave it behind. It's that simple.

No, I really don't care, as it is just an ego thing anyway, as wer don't earn extra for it at all. Now, when my responses is chosen as the best one, that is great as it lets me know that the one sho started the discussion, too, the time to read it.I am not here to get best response every time as it isn't possible anyway, as there will always be a better response than mine, so I don't worry about it at all. When I respond to a discussion, hopes of getting the best response is not on my mind. I just "fire away" And if then I do get the best response then, "thank you" -- but if not -- it's fine by me, at least I was able to have a say in the topic and share my sentiments about it.
