How much is too much?

I exercise about three hours a day/ five days a week. I've been told I'm crazy and that this is too much (as I do not play professional sports nor am I a professional athlete.) To me, this does not seem like much at all! I wish I had time to do five hours. Am I really crazy? How much is too much?

That does sound like alot of exercise but as long as you have a balanced life and have other things you do, no worries! Now if all you do is isolate yourself and exercise, that wouldn't be that healthy. Maybe you should find a team sport so you can find friends that love to be physical for hours every day like you do. Do you make time for family, friends, have any other hobbies?

When I'm not in classes I do :) I'm at college away from family but I hangout with friends all the time and go home every weekend to see my family. Exercising is just fun to me and I love doing it. So, I do a lot of it hahaha.

And I am in a drama club at my school and a vegetarian club :) I plan to get a job also in a few months. So, I do have other hobbies, exercise is just one of my favorites.

Hi Veggie mari. You must be having a super physique by now.One can exercise as long as one is comfortable with them.It depends on person to person how much is too much.If there are no aches and pains in the body I think you can continue. But if the body is giving stress signals it will be time to slow down. Also you have to eat lots of nutritious food and drink plenty of water to keep up with metabolism.
