Invisibility, Mind Reading, or Flying!??!

If your thoughts are clear and your mind is open, I invite you to express your thoughts freely among us all.
I was once asked by my grandma, "If you could have 1 of these 3 powers, which would you choose... Flying, Invisibility, or Mind Reading?" And right away I said "FLYING!!!"
Now she told me that there's different meanings behind each one... if you chose...
Flying - Means you want to be free and dislike limits, you're not a fan of commitment because you thrive on constant change.
Invisibility - You have something to hide or you feel like you don't belong due to the possibility of you feeling like you're the only one who thinks or acts like you.
Mind Reading - You care what people think about you and you would rather manipulate than go with the flow. You don't like to beat around the bush and dilly dally around, you'd rather find out now and act on impulse.
What would you choose?? Why??? And if you have a better or possibly your own description of why someone would choose any of the 3... by all means, spread your wisdom!!!
Also, for kicks... throw in more abilities. Let's have some fun with this!!

I will say that my immediate thought was that I would choose invisibility. Now, the reason that I think that would be the power that I would want to have is because I am an observer of people and I would really like to have the ability to observe people without them knowing that I was doing it. However, when you give the reason that people would choose that, I don't think it would be the right choice for me because I'm not one that has much of anything to hide in my life.

well i too think in similar ways to some. for me, it'd be invisibility.
flying, i'm too scared of heights. so that's out. as for mind reading, if i can't control, i think i'll be swamped with all the thoughts, good and bad, till my health suffers. with invisibility, i'll be able to be in peace when i'm looking for it. i'm not the type to play pranks so people do not have to be afraid of that. but at the same time, i also like power of water:P though this is not in the question. and i somehow agree that the meaning suits me in a way too

i think mind reading sounds like me. i am straightforward and blunt. i just want to do it and be productive. sometimes, going with the flow takes forever, and has obstacles in the way. mind reading can help overcome obstacles or at least prepare better for them before they come along.

That is a tough one! All would be fun to have and experience. Flying would be great. I have known a coupld of people who dreams they flew. I was even jealous of that. Invisability would be great too! But I think the gift of reading the mind of the other person would be the greatest. Flying would be cold and tiring, invisability would turn boring after a while but reading anothers mind would be fun all the time.

Most definitely flying. When I've had dreams of flying, nothing has felt more relaxing and exhilirating. I wake up happy and ready to take on the world. In my dreams lately, I've been far too grounded and would appreciate a flying dream once more.

ohh man i would have to go with invisibility imagine the places you can go with that power you can go places for free when ever you can do alot of things with it i mean i can go into a girls locker room if i wanted to xD or i can scare some bully by acting like a ghost and stuff xD so many possibility to what you can do with that power xD

my choice will be invisibility
there is a simple reason behind this. by being invisible i can live in my privacy and go any where where-ever i want.
if i choose to read other people minds then many times i will have to read what bad thoughts people can have for me and those people can be even closer to me. so i have to manage all the time satisfying them.
flying is ok but by this way i am also be just a part and like other animals and people can see me flying and after some time i will get bored. so
my selection will be invisible power.

Oooh definitely has to be mind reading!!! Would be great to know what people are really thinking! Plus as someone else mentioned, if fighting others...mind reading would mean you would know exactly what was coming up from them!!!

Hmmm... That's a hard question to answer... I don't know how to answer because I want all. But if would be able to have powers I think I would choose flying. I like flying, regardless of the meaning, because I still haven't heard of a human flying in the real world. I already heard of mind readers,like fortune tellers.

I chose invisibility because it sounds fun!
Mind reading, well i thought that was just reading minds, and i don't care what people think about me, I wouldn't try to change their minds anyway.
Flying, I'd rather walk around while being invisible. Its probably more healthy. I was thinking flying wouldnt have super speed with it, so i wouldn't go very fast. I'd rather be invisible and board a plane or something.

That will be flying for me, and that sounds right, wanting to be free and without limits. I will also add healing, since this world has so little of it (without paying big bucks to the insurance companies) -
Mind reading I would be paranoid. People will find out some pretty uncivilized stuff in my head, but most likely they will realize everyone has them, so it will no longer be any big deal. I don't see anything useful in invisibility unless your like Mr. Bush wanting to take away everyone's privacy.
Food materialization to help the hungry (including myself when I get that way.) A pet dragon to scare away the pests. A unicorn for shorter distances. A sphinx for conversation.
And yes, powers such as these may require wisdom, to prevent unbalance in one's life, having all these gifts. Ah, that's it. Sharing your powers with others.

I would choose the 3 powers because I can totally relate to the 3 descriptions.I love being free and act on my own terms.I do not like someone dictating on how shall I act,what shall I do,and what shall I follow.I like living my life in my own terms.I have several ideas and interests that may put off others,that's why I keep them to myself.I do care about what other think of me, that's why I let them know who I really am and see how they react to the real me,whether they like it or not.

i'd like to have the power of invisibility. I like to joke around so with this power, it's gonna be easy as pie :D I'll also use my power to get back on people who have hurt me before lol. It's payback time! revenge would be sweeter if i have this power :D

I wanted to have mind reading as my ability if I were given a power. I wouldnt be able to do a lot of things if I had the invisibility, I might probably do some pranks to those I hate If I had that. Flying is a nice one too so I can see different places in the top view at the same time travel around the world, but I prefer being in land. Guess, Mind reading would fit me perfectly so that I can be able to know whose thinking the wrong thing. I can even know who really hate me and who is really to me with such ability.

flying for me. when i was young, i used to have dreams where i could fly. sometimes the flying was just like floating in the air, sometimes like gliding, other times it was like swimming. anyhow, i always woke up feeling light and happy. as i grew older i stopped having these flying dreams. i guess the responsibilities we get as we mature keep our feet planted on the ground. that's why it would be nice if i had the power to fly, to get away from it all even if only occasionally.

i would prefer the mind reading power..not because i want to manipulate the thoughts and minds of people but because i have always been interested in people eversince..i wonder what makes people tick..although, it's an invasion of the privacy of an individual when you can easily read their minds, its euphoric at the same time it can also be a burden to be able to read the mind of other people..especially if the one you are reading seems to be jumble-tumble or filled with trash (lol)..
