Have you heard of 'Wormholes'

I once saw this in discovery channel. They say that all the cosmic objects in this universe lie on a space-time carpet. This is like a flexible rubber sheet. Consider two holes on this carpet. You are standing near the hole A. To reach the hole B, you'll have to travel several thousand light years. But if you bend this flexible sheet such that the two holes are made to come closer, you get a short route of just few light years. That's the idea. this is directly related to time travel. Do you know anything more about this? Please do share!

I've heard pretty much the same thing that you have. I've read a lot of stories about it, seen some movies, but I sure don't pretend to understand the physics.

yes ive heard about it..
it kinda similar to blackholes..
but wormholes have 2 holes while blackholes only have 1..
scientist says that wormholes are the key for future space travels..
