Dear myLotters... I am sure most of us must have read about Ajmal Qasab. He is a terrorist from Pakistan, who entered Indian coast at Mumbai, illegally, along with 9 more terrorists. Those people made havoc for next 3 days and the entire world was stunned. Their targets were Hotel Taj (the oldest and the finest ever in India), Nariman house and Oberai Hotel... All these hotels are frequented by tourists from the Europe and America and Nariman House is a building owned by Jews.
The motive of the terrorists was clear.. They wanted to target Western people and Jews. They are religious fanatics. Attacking India has been their favorite game and have paid for it. Many innocents were killed, who were Indians or foreigners. The CCTV camera at the railway station got the pictures of Qasab and his partner firing with their AK-47s and throwing hand-grenades at innocent people.
Nine of them got killed and Qasab was arrested. He admitted to everything. And finally, the court has sentenced Qasab to be hanged till death... A victory for all those who fell prey to his attacks. A victory for the fight against terrorism...
Dear myLotters, what do you feel, should be done to fight against terrorism? I am sure we as common people could come up with better ideas than the politicians... Please share those here.... Thank you...

Hiii Pupupd... Thanks for your wonderful response.. I am sure that this strategy will work wonderfully, if we're determined to the last... At present, due to the complicated politics, it is quite impossible. But trust me, within a few decadeds this system of 'complete boycott' will come into existence and then these countries will recognize the importance of being a little more human... Yes, I strongly support this point. The countries which are giving shelter to terrorists and doing nothing in order to get rid of them have to face the worst consequences. All kinds contacts should be disabled with such countries, they should not be given any kind of support like financial, power or food supply. Also any tourism related should be completely prohibited. No one from those countries should be allowed to enter any other country. Only then will they realise the meaning of harbouring such ruthless criminals and quitely supporting their deadly activities.

I think more should be done to understand why they feel the need to create voilance why they feel the need to create havoc. One reason i believe the current rise in terrorism is america's interferance into other peoples business yes they had to suffer the twin towers attack but why did mr osama bin laden go from taking weapons from the cia in the 80's to an all out hatred of the west 20 years on. one reason i heard for this was that america chose to ignore bin ladens request not to start the first gulf war because he himself would raise an army and take the fight to sadam hussian himself and so no westeners would need to interfer with the rest of the worlds business. so as soon as americia steps of its huge high horse then maybe just maybe we can live in a safer world.

Hello Friend.. Thanks for sharing... I find myself not agreeing with you.. These fanatics simply need some reason to continue fighting under the banner of religion.. Trust me, they don't even fight for religion.. Many of their own compatriots of the same religion are tortured alive, their women taken away from them and their sons are recruited for their unholy rebel without cause... I assure you that even if America hadn't stepped into the gulf or in Afghanistan, Bin Laden would still have committed these acts... A terrorist is a Rebel Without Any Cause...
So, would you want the whole world to forgive Taliban or Al Quiada, even if they continue their Unholy War? Would you want India to forgive Qasab and leave him at liberty? Is that what you want to say?
I don't know history much and history doesn't matter here a lot... What matters now is the life of millions is in danger because of a few fanatics... that is the today's problem, which must be solved ASAP...

I disagree with a terrorist is a rebel without a cause. The IRA where classed as terrorists but they had a cause a free ireland away from british rule. bin laden wants westeners from poking there noses in that sounds like a cause to me. I dont think we could forgive al qudia for what they have done and not asking for forgivness on there part just to stop swallowing the propraganda that uncle sam peddles to you and look at the whole picture. Uncle sam has the habbit of looking at today and not the whole picture what it did yesterday to annoy everyone else. It also has the habbit of going way way way over the top they see terrorists as a cancer on society witch it is but i see it more like a wart in its size cancer is a huge monster disease they seem to say that every muslim is a terrorist where as 99% per cent of muslims hate the other one per cent of the nuts etc. But todays terrorists these days live in tiny cells not huge countrys like the ira sooner they learn this the better because then we really can start to destroy terroism in a proper way because invading countrys really isnt working

I strongly agree with all the points mr_pearl has mentioned here. Bin Laden is an animal, he has no religion sense, he just wants to be notorious for creating terror in this peaceful world. We are better off without such jerks creating unnecessary terror now and then for reasons which have been sorted out long back.
If americans have done anything wrong against the afganis then did the afganis keep quite and tolerate everything? NO!! They planned a more deadly attack than anyone could have imagined. Now the americans will not tolerate such counter attacks from a country like afganistan who is itself full of terrorists, so americans started suspecting anyone who was form arab or a muslim. History has shown us that muslims, islamis etc are the ones who have committed horrible crimes in all the well developed countries, I am not taling about times which are 50-60 years back, but about last 10-15 years.
The muslims just can't bear that India is becoming economically strong and will soon become SuperPower of this world and even become more powerful than America in coming years. Who has stopped them (muslim countries) from making progress?
Didn't India extend a hand of friendship with Pakistan when things were normal between the two countries??? INDIA did everything possible to start amicable communications with PAKISTAN, what did pakistan give in return? ONLY TERROR!! They started making all kinds of strategies on How to make a more deadly attack on India which will shake the whole world!! What a great return gift for INDIA

Whenever any country has tried to help them they have counter attacked that country and tried to gain power and have failed everytime.
