Is it wrong to turn to shopping in times of need? What I mean by needs is when you're feeling under the weather (yes, us females will actually have enough strength to go out shopping lol), or just sad or needs cheering up. I know some people actually goes to see a therapist for shoppaholics. But tell me something, doesn't it ease the pain for the day and then when the bills comes, that's when a new ache comes it, haha __

same here, if it's my money I'm using, I feel so great buying at bargain prices or stores, when it's someone's money and buying bargain, I feel even better. My money plus expensive things, I feel crummy, someone's money plus expensive things, you feel happy but guilty afterwards. Oh the joy of shopping! haha

I learn to control the "need" to shop especially that I am working in a very tight budget. I dont wanna go out for the whole week and I dont have anything. I hate when I dont have enough money when I go out so I have to save money and when I already have more then that's the time I can shop when I dont have to think about where to get it next time.

haha. I loved how you ended this. How true.
Well, I can only discuss my thoughts on this, as I have no experience in this area. I am not really a shopaholic in times of stress. I normally lose my appetite when I am stressed. Different ways that stress shows up in, huh?
I think if a person has that kind of money and it helps the person feel better, then fine. But if one does not have that sort of money to throw away, then he/she needs to get professional help. It is important to find out other coping mechanisms. After all, life does throw many challenges our way. So it's good to know how to cope with them, rather than heading towards the shopping mall.lol
