Yesterday I upgraded my Ubuntu 9.10 to the new Ubuntu 10.4 Lucid Lynx and I am very glad that I did it. I use it on Toshiba L300 1f8 and it's performance is just superb. While I used Ubuntu 9.10 I had some trouble with the touchpad tapping and other little bugs, but after upgrading I observed that all these bugs are fixed and I still don't find any new bugs. The start-up speed is really really great - even better than those of Ubuntu 9.10, but I wonder if that's a feature of Ubuntu 10.4 - there's no Ubuntu logo at startup. Is this fix or it's cause of upgrading from older version? Have you tried the new Ubuntu 10.4 and what is you opinion about it? Have you found any bugs? Just share your opinion.

Its the best possible coded Ubuntu edition ever. Hey, if you love that 9.10 version of Ubuntu which is UNIX based... I think you should try Kubuntu instead of Ubuntu. Kubuntu, according to me, is the strongest coded piece of GNU program. It is the best OS according to me and I GOT IT SHIPPED FOR FREE FROM THE UBUNTU ONLINE SERVER...

I have upgraded Kubuntu, but it's been giving me problems lately. It seems the new version keeps on logging me out to the command prompt. And I can't get it to recognize my monitor's higher resolution properly. I suspect the two problems are related.
Anyway, I haven't upgraded Ubuntu, Kubuntu and Mint in my notebook PC because the Kubuntu upgrade on my desktop took two hours to complete after a huge download.

Maybe that is a bug in the terminal or the OS itself. I have not faced such problems while using the terminal for the Python program.
