Mothers' Day and I've been pondering

How many of us who have adult children wonder how the kid's lives would be different if we had done this or not done that? Not looking for a guilt trip, just marveling how one step in either direction can effect not just our kids but so many people their lives touch. Awesome.

I think about the fact that my kids have the same parents, same raising, same opportunities, but different outcomes. Both are great people, but one makes me happy with choices and one makes me sad because of what has happened in their lives.

Oh I know what you mean, thing is if one step was taken in any direction would we have the children? We make choices in life that we don't realize will hurt us in the end. Oh how I know that one all to well. Many mistakes and I try and I just can't seem to do it right. I have one daughter who doesn't want anything to do with me because of what happened when she was a child. No matter what I do or say, I am wrong. I leave it alone now. It is her decision to be this way, one can only apologize so many times for the past, when will they let it go. Some never do and that is what I have come to realize. I still love all my girls, they have their own choices in life to make now.
