Will There Ever Be A Day Without Radio?

Think about it. Technology has not only made the 8 track, vinyl record and cassette obsolete, it will soon make the CD a thing of the past as well. What newspapers are left contain mostly "old news" when compared to the constantly updated version on the internet. Television has gone digital, satilite, or cable. But radio has survived. Not only survived, it has thrived. News, music, sports, talk, all on radio. Yes, there is satillite radio (which I love, by the way) and on line radio. But you can take a radio from 20, 30, 40 years ago, plug it in, and pick a signal from the air. Just like you always could before. Just like you will always be able to do in the future. Will radio be here forever, or will there be a day without it?
