How many interesting people have you meet online?

I had made a few friends here on myLot. But I have not met any of them in person. I know I can count on them and if nothing else, they are there to listen to me and give me a shoulder to cry on when I need it. More than a decade ago, I used to chat on IRC and I made really good friends there too. But I've met only one in person. I lost touch with most of my friends on IRC after I was married and moved countries...but I'm still in touch with the one I met in person. One thing is that each one of these friends have touched my life in a very special way.

i haven't met anyone on here yet in person hoping soon in NYC area.. but anyway i have met people online and online in person. they are nice and some or just coo coo i have to disconnect from lol

I have come across amazing people here.Each one is best in his or her own qualities.In these four years I have stumbled upon people of various hues and colors.The wittiest ones,the brash,the jealous,the angry and the stupid ones too who don't know the ethics of a forum.But I just enjoyed every moment of it as people watching is my favorite pastime.

I have met a load of interesting people on line including my husband, who is my favourite of all of them.

I met a lot of good people here in mylot and I really consider them as my online friends too. The other friends I've met are on the local mobile forums that I joined in. We really haven't met personally even if we are all from the Philippines but I hope I get to meet them on eyeball meetings of the forums. They are really helpful and they are really friends..

I met different people. I even met business partners and customers. It's really good that I was able to meet them but there are those that are really irritating. Well, it can't be helped.

For year I have been working online I am continuously meeting different kinds of people on different sites and one of that is mylot. I agree that there are a number of wondeful people there. Most of them are kind, enjoyable to be with, helpful. I also got some criticism but it is ok. We also need it to know ourselves more and overcome our weaknesses. I got few friends here who is not on my messengers. They are really cool. Until now, I haven't met anyone here in mylot in person. We all know that mylot is made up of participants from different countries that is why it is not easy to meet in person. I have meet some friends also on some site like livemocha and sharedtalk. I can say that they are wondeful too. One of your respondents said that she/he somewhat meet irritating people. Well, I met that kind a couple of weeks ago. I was just irritated because he/she doesn't show respects with the culture of other people.I find it very rude that is why I made a post entitle "Please show some respect" after I read his/her post. I do not know what is the gender of the said participant so I cannot make a definite pronoun. Aside from that person, I can say that the rest are of good-natured.

I've met some really nice and generous people here on MyLot, though on other online socializing websites, not everyone is who they say they are. MyLot does carry some very interesting and life-well-lived people.
