Sometimes phone seems to be for other's convenience when they disturb us. I think actually it is for our convenience not others, we should not allow others to disturb us and make us irritated. Sometimes people call me just for chatting when I am busy with my work, sometimes when I am in the mood of enjoyment someone calls me and start asking about my career and business? I get irritated when such incident happens. Sometimes I feels that I am paying my phone bills for other's convenience. Do you feel so?

hell0 there!
I have never been disturbed by the phone, so that's why i guess it is really for our convenience and maybe if we don't want to be disturb by it, we just have to put it in a silent mode and presto- there willbe no worries!

Phones definitely have advantages and disadvantages. It's a formidable device if you know how to utilize it. It's just all about knowing when It's time to just put it in silent mode or not. It's for our convenience.

Yeah I feel you about the irritation part. But then again you do have the choice not to answer the phone until you are ready. And if they really want to talk to you for real they will leave a message. Right? Hell my phone is convient for me not anyone else. I choose who I give my phone number out to and I choose when I want to talk or when I want to text with someone. So in away it really is up to the person how they choose to handle his or her phone really. If you feel it to be a burden then it is and you need a new method of communication. But even that could eventually get irritating.
