How to delete a post from Twiter ?

Hello ! Unfortunately while working with a project, i have create a test post in a Twitter account and later i have realized that, it is hard to delete the post. Is there any way to delete the post ? Also i have goggled for a solution and found that, by working with Twitter API, it may be possible however i do not have any idea how to do this. Anybody's help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

You are making things hard for yourself. Just hover your mouse pointer over the tweet you'd like to delete and on the lower right corner of the tweet you'll see a Delete link next to a trash can icon.
