I am not quite sure if this is very true. I have had some long drawn out dreams in my day. There are a lot of times where these dreams had to be more than three minutes in length for I woke up. Of course, it does not mean that they made sense and it is possible that I could have woke up for like the most minimal amount of time possible to be considered woken up before going back to sleep.
Then again, we do tend to have a strange perception of time when we sleep. I mean, hours could only be seconds. It is rather odd at times. There are times where I feel like I have just gotten to sleep as well but I had actually been sleeping for an hour. So while it is an interesting theory, I have no idea. I do think that time does not work the same in dreams as it does in the real world.

well, I am really not sure about that, because I haven't filmed myself while sleeping, just to know how long do I dream and also do i dream only before wakeing-up!

Hmm...maybe what we thought very long in our dream could be just less a minute in real world? :/
However, sometimes after I wake up I will sleep again a bit, and same dream will be continued haha....Like a movie, don't you think:D
But I think maybe my dream is more than three minutes, otherwise I wouldn't LATE yesterday....haha...
